Most tattoo lovers search for designs that are beautiful to look at and also bear deeper meanings. These kinds of tattoos project beauty and creativity that with its array of different forms and styles, tattoo fans can a pick a model of their choice. Dragonflies may appear delicate and dainty, but they also symbolize strength. They are hunters after all; preying on unsuspecting smaller insects and once caught they will be crushed in the dragonflies' strong jaws. Another thing that is eye-catching about the dragonfly is its flapped pair of wings that with its thin body the contrast creates an exceptional image. From a far it can even look like a fairy.

The colors of blue, red, orange, green, aquamarine, and pink make up most of the dragonfly tattoo designs. With its transparent thin wings, the image of haze is also shown. To accent the dragonfly drawing, flowers or leaves can also be illustrated. This is really a design that has a deeper sense and at the same time emits beauty. Both male and female tattoo lovers can have this kind of design. It does not simply appeal to the female gender but rather to all. It would only depend on the presentation of the dragonfly drawing that would delineate a feminine from a masculine outlook. Also, rates for some of the dragonfly tattoo designs are fairly affordable so even the younger tattoo fans can also avail. So when you are thinking of what design you want for a tattoo put the dragonfly on your list.

Mini Ear Tattoo

I thought this was a great choice for a miniature ear tattoo. Using the shape of the ear to enhance the shape of the skull. Very detailed. I also like the shading that was added to accent the concave of the ear itself. Previously, I had only seen feminine ear tats – flowers, tribal stuff. I think ear body art will become more popular in the future. It’s discreet and if you have long enough hair, can be covered if you prefer that in some social situations.

Swallow bird tattoos

Swallow bird tattoos

The swallow tattoo and other old-school tattoos are trendy again, especially in some scenes, such as the rockabilly scene. Swallow tattoos are a popular design amongst rockabilly girls and other retro chicks, just as nautical stars and cherry tattoos. This is due to the fact that these old school tattoos were common during the prime time of rockabilly music. A good example of the tattoo designs typical for that time is the work of tattoo artist Sailor Jerry, who had his tattoo parlor in Honolulu's Chinatown. Sailor Jerry's pupil, Ed Hardy, is known for this traditional style as well.

The Japanese Koi Fish Tattoo Design is a "Lucky Choice" For Your 1st Tattoo

The Japanese Koi Fish Tattoo Design is a "Lucky Choice" For Your 1st Tattoo

If you are looking for some of the most popular tattoo designs on the "net", the Japanese Koi fish tattoo is included with a number of the other top choices. This tattoo design is associated to the Zen and stands for Good Luck. The Japanese depict an equivalent linking to the Koi fish and a Samurai Warrior because they both characterize bravery, the capability to reach high levels of achievement and the ability to pick yourself up from life's problems. Rather than running off and having a Japanese Koi fish tattoo you should remember several factors as well as the tattoo color and its place on your body.

As you ultimately go to the tattoo shop for your Koi fish concept you must maintain an unmistakable outlook on the color pattern you would like the tattoo to be in. A highly trendy color plot is the infamous Yen Yang tattoo of black and white. For several individuals this long time display is a way too boring and tame display and they would like to go for a different, more exciting display.

It's probably a good idea to pick a color design with the intention of adding to your body complexion. As a example, if you have a lighter complexion it may be even more smarter to get a gold or yellow design. Different shades that could succeed depending on your flesh tone are white, orange, purple and red and you could learn that one of these could be the paramount color choice for your Japanese Koi fish tattoo design.

It is advised that you make certain that your Koi fish tattoo has a area of respect on your body. You should also make certain it is in a area on your body that you be happy with. For instance, if your job is of a low key nature which looks down on workers getting bold tattoos or has a strict dress code you will not want your tattoo on your hand, face, neck or lower arm where the tattoo is easily visible and nearly impractical to mask with clothing.

If that's not the case and if you are limitless to reveal off your fortunate Japanese Koi fish tattoo design, you can try putting it it on your lower back, your forearms, an area of your leg or even going around your ankle.

After you have determined what your tattoo will look like and someplace it will be, you must assign serious thought to what different things you could incorporate with the design. A fashionable and effective inclusion to the Koi design is a flowing stream or a calm pool. Bring together your Japanese Koi fish tattoo design with a a small amount of special additions such as your favorite Chinese symbol and it will result in a tattoo of superior quality that can be esteemed right through the years.

It is really gorgeous, a flower tattoo design with amazing color - looks sexy but not too greatly. We started chat on tattoo designs for women. She said there are pretty a lot of cute tattoo designs I truly can think about. I realized I want a tattoo with womanly design instead. Thus, I am very excited. I was afraid on what kind of tattoo design I should desire - as to me it is like a fulltime commitment, I cannot go wrong with the design. I was frightened with tattoo needle as well. I heard it is truly pain. But, she said that it is usual and I will not be afraid any longer when I know what and how a tattoo is made on the site I access. They typically have complete information on how to tattoos, with good explanation about needle, color, risks and advantages.

Once some search, I was adore with a cute flower tattoo design I discover in a website. The whole thing on that design is really what I desire about of a permanent tattoo on my lower back. Phoenix Bird Tattoo - Symbolic Beauty

Phoenix Bird Tattoo - Symbolic Beauty

The tattooing world has very few favorites. Phoenix bird is one of them. Do you know where this interesting picture comes from? What is the symbolic significance of this awesome picture? We will look at the reasons this bird design has become one of enduring symbols of time.
Mythology says that the Phoenix is a creature that rises from its own ashes after burning down. The name itself originated from the Greek word for “red”, the universal color of fire. Being the bird of fire, Phoenix can be aptly used to symbolize a person’s inner fire and zest for life. The rage for the Phoenix bird tattoos has started a few years back. The Phoenix bird epitomizes the rebirth and resurrection from the ashes. You can use this symbol if you have had a tough patch in life and successfully overcame it.

It is fairly easy to draw the Phoenix bird tattoos which are normally painted in bright and lucid colours that represent life. The uniqueness of a phoenix bird design lies in its different interpretation by different people. You can very easily personalize a phoenix bird tattoo to highlight emotions close to your heart. You just need to tell a good tattoo artist what you want to depict with your tattoo and he or she will easily give you the best.

Jewish legend says that the phoenix was the bird that refrained from eating the forbidden fruit of paradise, set itself on fire but rose from the ashes three days later. The Phoenix bird was also considered to be the representation of the rising and setting of the sun. However later on it was widely accepted as the symbol of resurrection of life. Originally tattoos were just beauty symbols. Of late, they have become a medium to express ones life experiences and emotions. Therefore, the Phoenix bird designs have attained big popularity. Keeping in line with this, the tattoo artists have creatively designed many forms of the Phoenix bird tattoo.

The emergence of the Phoenix Bird tattoo as a popular one is not documented well but people believe that it has its origins in the Far East. Men like to have a phoenix bird picture on their arms, while the ladies normally prefer to have it on their lower back or on their belly. There are people who consider Phoenix to be the symbol of the devil and that pagans expressed their love for Satan through the phoenix. In the vastly popular Harry Potter series, the phoenix has been depicted as the bird that has healing powers. This is more in line with the symbolic meaning of Phoenix, the resurrection. In the chronicles of Narnia too, a phoenix is pictured saving one of the characters from imminent danger.

Historically the phoenix was used not just as a tattoo. It was also printed on the coins by the ancient Romans, who believed that it would ensure the longevity of the Roman Empire. No matter what the reason, the phoenix tattoo designs are beautiful and at the same time have definite, deeply held symbolic significance. Therefore, these designs are, like diamonds, forever.
